RB4232 Prescription Sunglasses

Ray-Ban sunglasses are renowned for a long line of American culture and history. The Ray-Ban style can be seen worldwide on film stars, musicians and super models. Ray-Ban sunglasses have been iconic throughout many era’s which see designs that are still worn to this day. Founded in 1937, Ray-Ban sunglasses were firstly designed for the U.S. Army Air corp. who needed a pair of sunglasses to protect their eyes from damaging rays of the sun but also a piece of quality eyewear that would allow both function and style. In 1937, Ray-Ban patented the famous Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses. As the first sunglasses to include anti-glare lenses, Ray-Ban created metal frames that were extremely lightweight and made from gold plated metal with two green lenses that filtered out UV rays. The Ray-Ban name became a global hit with help from General Douglas Macarthur. Ray-Ban have continued to produce more and more iconic designs of the years which saw the world renowned Ray-Ban wayfarers being born. Throughout the 50s and 60s Ray-Ban wayfarers could been on celebrities from Bob Dylan to Marilyn Monroe and John Lennon. This was later followed by Ray-Ban sunglasses exposure from Michael Jackson and Madonna in the 80s. Today, Ray-Ban maintain their iconic designs such as the Ray-Ban Wayfarer and Ray-Ban Aviator whilst continuing to create new designs for the needs of modern day wearers. The Ray-Ban RB4232 sunglasses are reminiscent of the wayfarer style boasting back acetate frames and polarised green lenses.
