Creating a Dita frame can take as many as 320 production steps over 8 months. This type of meticulous manufacturing process is a perfect example of Dita’s production philosophy in which each frame is polished and individually crafted unlike other mass production processes. Each Dita frame is slowly tumbled in genuine, hand cut bamboo chips of different shapes and sizes. This traditional bamboo polishing process results in a deeper, richer and higher quality finish that is instantly recognisable the moment you see a Dita frame. Dita sunglasses aim to restore the meaning behind the overused word ‘luxury,’ as one of the few remaining eyewear brands that delivers a genuine luxury promise. Each Dita sunglass utilises extraordinary materials, exceptional craftsmanship skills and true exclusivity.
